“Like an insect rushing into fire, the demon [Hiranyakashipu] was engulfed in the radiance of the Man-Lion. This is not hard to understand, as the Lord is made of radiant purity that swallows darkness by it’s own light.” ~Srimad Bhagavatam VII:8:24 (tr. by Sw. Bhajanananda)
