Pradosha is a bimonthly occasion on the thirteenth day (triyodasi) of every fortnight in the Hindu calendar sacred for the worship of Shiva. The auspicious 3 hour period (1.5 hours before and after  sunset) is known as Pradosha Kala and the optimum time for worship of Shiva.
