Sandhi Puja is done during Navaratri at the juncture when Ashtami Tithi (8th lunar day) ends and Navami Tithi (9th lunar day) starts. It is believed that Devi Chamunda appeared during this time to kill demons Chanda and Munda. Sandhi Puja prevails for 48 minutes.

Although the temple remains temporarily closed to the public, the Sandhi Puja will be broadcast live from 6pm to 7pm (PST) followed by arati of Devi via our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/KaliMandirRamakrishnaAshrama.
