  • The Mahishasura Mardini Stotram was recorded live before the awakened image of Sri Ma Dakshineswari Kali at Kali Mandir, Laguna Beach, California.  This CD contains two versions of this popular devotional chant glorifying the victory of the Goddess Durga over the demon Mahishasura – one fast one as it is chanted at Kali Mandir during amavasya Kali pujas and one melodic slow version.

    Songs from the Mystic Poets of Bengal.  The land of Bengal in eastern India is a fertile ground for tantric worship of the Divine Mother Kali.  Great mystics took birth there and left us with a legacy of ecstatic devotional songs.  These songs were revived by Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and many were adapted for the West by Paramahansa Yogananda.  Esho Ma is the first recording by a Westerner of India’s most enthralling love songs to Mother Kali.  This CD includes a 16-page booklet with Bengali lyrics, English transliteration and poetic translation.  Vocals by Naren K.
