Kali Mandir charges a flat rate of $16.50 for shipping and handling per order, regardless of weight, volume, distance or number of items per order. Shipping is free on orders of $125 or more. Offer applies to any order shipped within the United States.

  • Very rare outside of India, this kosha-kushi (double spoon) is an important ritual item used in the Tantric worship of the Divine Mother and represents the yoni and womb of the Goddess, as well as the astral body within the physical body and the microcosm within the macrocosm. Many devotees expressed regret that they could not find kosha-kushis in America, so we searched Calcutta and its surrounding villages until we found a source for these high quality puja implements. Handcrafted from pure copper by artisans in West Bengal. About 8.5"long.  We sell the kosha-kushi the way we purchased it: unpolished.  With a bit of effort and the help of copper polish, this double spoon will shine as shown in the picture.

  • This beautiful water pot is used for bathing the deity and for any other water needed during the puja. 6"w x 8.5"h
  • Sandalwood is considered the most spiritual fragrance. Paste made by grinding sandalwood with water is touched to most items when offered in puja. This is the Mysore sandalwood that the shopkeeper stashes in a separate trunk for special customers only.  The grinding stone is not included in the price.
  • This small bowl is ideal to hold sandalwood paste or other offerings used in ritual worship. Made from polished brass in village Bengal. About 2" in diameter.
  • A chamar is a yak-tail fan which is waved at the end of arati. This represents the offering of the element of air back to its source, cool the deity, keep insects away. Waving the chamar is also a gesture of honoring the Deity and Her royal power. Considered ritually pure, the only hair that can be used in puja is that from the tail of a yak.  It is extremely difficult, even in India, to find a chamar made of real yak-tail hair.  We still have some left.  Approx. 25" long.
